STTT One PlayerComparing IPTV player apps
There are several IPTV player apps. These pages say plainly what STTT One Player does, so that if you are looking at another app you can compare like with like.
STTT One Player is a player: software only. It doesn't include or sell any channels, films, series or playlists. You bring your own IPTV subscription (an M3U playlist or an Xtream Codes login) and you are responsible for what you add.
Questions worth asking of any IPTV player
- Does it run on the devices you own: Android TV, Fire TV, a phone or a Windows PC?
- What does it cost, is it a yearly or monthly licence, and is there a free trial?
- Which features do you really use: a TV guide, recordings, watching several channels at once, rewinding live TV, family profiles?
- How is the licence tied to your device, and what happens when you change it?
- What does the app say about content? A player should not claim to include channels.
What STTT One Player offers
- Live TV, movies and series, with categories, search across everything and favourites. Home picks up exactly where you left off, and the next episode starts by itself.
- A real TV guide: what's on now and next across every channel, with a reminder or a recording set in one press.
- Multi-View: up to four channels on one screen, and you choose which one you hear.
- Live Rewind: pause live TV, jump back, then catch up to live.
- Recordings: record a programme or a whole match, or schedule it from the guide.
- Family profiles with a Kids mode and a parental PIN, so adult channels stay locked.
- Your phone as the remote: STTT Remote finds your TV on the Wi-Fi and pairs with a 4-digit code (free with your licence).
- Downloads for later: save movies and seasons to the device and watch without internet.
A licence is for one device: $9.99 a year, or $1.49 a month. Every new device starts with a 7-day free trial, so you can try it on your own playlist before you pay.
