Privacy
This page explains, in plain words, what STTT One Player (the app) and the reseller portal collect and why. Contact us with any question or to ask for your information to be corrected or removed:
What stays on your device
Your playlists, library, favourites, watch history, profiles and settings are stored on your own device. The app plays streams straight from your IPTV provider; they do not pass through our servers, and we do not see what is in your playlist.
What the app tells our licence server
- A device ID and a secret key the app creates, so a licence belongs to one device.
- The platform (Windows, Android phone or Android TV), the app version, the device's name and model, and basic connection information such as the network type.
- Your internet address (IP address) at each check-in. It is used to keep licences from being shared widely and to protect the service, and it is deleted after a limited number of days.
- Optionally, what is playing and playback problems, to help your provider fix streams. When this is switched on the app says so in its Account screen.
- Messages you send to your provider from the app, and the app's own log if you or your provider ask for it to help with a problem.
What the licence server holds for your provider
If your provider or reseller sets up a playlist for you, its address and login are held on the server so they can be sent to your device. Resellers can also keep a record of their customers (name, phone, e-mail, notes, invoices). That information is entered by the reseller and is used only to run the service they provide to you.
The reseller portal and this website
Signing in to the portal uses a username and password; the portal keeps a short-lived session in your browser while you are signed in and records sign-ins (time and address) for security. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who can see it
Your reseller (or provider) can see the devices and customers they look after. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
You can remove the app and its data from your device at any time. Ask your provider or us to correct or delete the information held about you on the server.
